Art Masterclass is a premier, boutique art Studio, offering a mix of traditional craft workshops in Sydney.

We are Australia’s first workshop to teach the art of traditional Turkish mosaic lamp making.

In this 2.5 hour class you will learn the techniques of this 500-year ancient craft. You will learn and practice assembling geometric patterning as well as techniques for laying the tiles (tesserae). Using your selected geometric template you will be guided to create your own traditional Turkish Mosaic Table Lamp!

All of our workshops & events include a sumptuous Turkish tea service, delectable treats & homemade Turkish shortbread cookies.

Very cute and beautiful place! If you are only doing one lamp you need pay $30 for the visitor company fee which is acceptable. The staff and teachers in there is very friendly and nicely to explain everything and check your steps. Easy to master and design by ourselves! It’s very good place for dating or gifts! Definitely will be back for another one xx

Mashallah🌹♥️💐 my bestie and I had so much fun in designing our very own Turkish mosaic lamp in the art class as a beginner.The art class itself is so beautiful and decorated so elegantly with Turkish lamps! We enjoyed designing for a good 2 1/2 hour workshop, we also got a 50% discount voucher for our next buy online. We had fun playing quizzes with the lovely hosts and enjoyed the apple Turkish tea with the homemade cookie! - the kit involves, the glass lamp, decorating with beads, and other tools such as the lamp base and the plaster. They also give you the flyer/brochure for the video tutorial. 💐🌹♥️ would def come here again for another session! Then with the discount voucher I bought the camping lamp DIY and this time I professionally designed my lamp!

Great way to spend an evening out being creative, and designing your own lamps. Had a great instructor that was very patient, friendly, explained every step really clearly and made us all feel at home. The Turkish Delight and Tea was an added bonus. Will definitely be back for another class, highly recommended.
